Volunteer Spanish Speaking Subject Recruiter

Description:
We are currently interviewing for the position of Volunteer Spanish Speaking Subject Recruiter. This position involves contacting subject participants in Spanish , tracking progress of assessments and setting research interview appointments. Training will be provided.

Position on a research project supported by a 5-year National Institute of Mental Health research grant. Research assistants conduct child and family evaluations; score, enter and analyze data; and assist in various tasks part of the project's daily operations. Research assistants work closely with research coordinator.


This position is ideal for someone who is interested in gaining experience working with bilingual minorities. Should be interested in research.

Requirements:
  • 6 month commitment minimum.
  • Minimum 12 hours per week, (or full time for minimum 3 months) Schedule is generally flexible.
  • Spanish/English bilingual, native Spanish speaker preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills.
Preferred but not required:
  • Experience with statistical analysis software
