The Born lab is accessible from the subway (a.k.a. "The T"), with stops on either the Green "D" or "E" lines (red stars on the map below). The most convenient entrance is by way of the grassy quadrangle (green rectangle on the map) at 220 Longwood Avenue, across from Avenue Louis Pasteur. The Longwood and Cambridge campuses are linked by the M2 shuttle bus.

More maps of the Longwood area are posted on the HMS main page. Those unfamiliar with Boston can get directions using Google maps.

Our lab is part of the Department of Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School, at the Longwood (Boston) campus of Harvard University. We also have many close colleagues at the Cambridge campus in the Center for Brain Science. These groups host a wide variety of neuroscience seminars, many of them at the Longwood campus.

Our neighbors on the Longwood Quadrangle are:
Cell Biology, Genetics, Systems Biology, Biological Chemistry & Molecular Pharmacology, and Microbiology & Molecular Genetics.

Students generally enter the lab through the Harvard Ph.D. Program in Neuroscience (PIN). Prospective students should start by applying to PIN. The PIN community links us with many Harvard neuroscientists with common research interests.
