HMS Palliative Care Faculty Seminars

For Palliative Care and Hospice Clinicians, this seminar offers opportunities for individuals interested in different facets of palliative care from across the HMS institutions (including the hospice community) to come together to discuss practice, research, educations, and contemporary ideas related to end-of-life care.

The Seminar is usually in a case-presentation format, and is a venue for mutual learning, collaborative projects, and the development of a community of palliative care experts. It provides a mix of highly interactive sessions with opportunities for sharing personal experiences with more traditional didactic learning.

Schedule

Seminars take place the 2nd Friday of the month from September through May.

MGH Palliative Care Grand Rounds

The Palliative Care Grand Rounds is a continuing medical education series provided by the Massachusetts General Hospital Palliative Care Service. This series is open to anyone in the palliative care community.

The goal of this conference is to offer clinicians an opportunity to review and learn state-of-the art palliative care. Speakers from multiple disciplines present on a wide range of topics including biomedical, psychosocial, spiritual and ethical. CME category 1 and nursing CEUs available.

Schedule

The MGH Palliative Care Grand Rounds take place every Wednesday from September to June at 8:00AM.

The first MGH Palliative Care Grand Rounds will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2009.
