Current teaching and research interests:
Research Interests: My research focus is on physician-parent communication. A project currently underway is looking at understanding of prognosis among parents of children with caner, factors associated with enhanced communication, and psychological outcomes of prognosis communication.
Teaching Interests: I teach residents and medical students during their oncology rotations, and I teach inpatient oncology nurses on a regular basis. In particular, I’m working to educate pediatric residents and oncology fellows and staff about communication at the end of life.
