I am developing a course on "Pain and Palliative Medicine: From Neurobiology to Clinical, Ethical and Social Concerns" for fourth-year medical students. I continue to write on issues of culture and ethnicity in end-of-life care. Recent interests include double effect and sedation for intractable distress of dying patients. I also like to write on philosophy of medicine.
