Journal Club
The Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Journal Club is a monthly
event where residents and faculty meet informally to discuss 5 recent
articles in the Journal
of Bone and Joint Surgery (JBJS) over dinner.

Journal Club is under the direction and advisement of James H. Herndon,
M.D. The chief residents rotate the responsibility of assigning
the monthly reading material. Both residents and faculty view the
journal club as a tremendous forum to discuss the current advances
and controversies in Orthopaedics.

The journal club was founded by a former resident, David W. Wimberley,
M.D., in the fall of 2000. Current leadership for the club is provided
by one of our senior residents.
