Additional Hospitals The West Roxbury Veteran’s Administration Hospital provides an excellent clinical array of elective problems. The VA coordinate a general orthopaedic service with special attention to spinal cord injury patients and joint arthroplasty. The residents are involved in pre-operative evaluation of patients in the clinic as well as surgical treatment, post-operative care, and out-patient care of general orthopaedic problems. Salem Hospital provides an excellent exposure to community Orthopaedic problems. Salem Hospital is located in a lovely north shore community and residents work closely with the staff of community orthopaedists.
