Pre Hoc - Designing Experiments Dr. Wayne La Morte at BU Medical Center has written a simple spreadsheet to help PIs make a statistical argument for the number of animals they plan to use in an experiment. It is strongly recommended that a PI wishing to use the spread sheet read an introductory document written by Dr. La Morte before using the spreadsheet.
