IACUC Training: Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals in Research and Teaching

2:00 to 4:00 P.M.

LOCATON: Walter Amphitheater, Tosteson Medical Education Center

This is a Federally mandated course for all laboratory staff working with any animal species.

Training is required every 3 years.

Submission Dates

All applications, amendments and continuations must be received by the first of the month to be presented for review at that month's meeting.

Training Sessions

Humane Care & Use of Lab Animals / Environmental Health & Safety (Occupational Health & Safety) Training Sessions will be held quarterly and advertised in the Quad Bulletin.

A Web-based training will be instituted in the in the near future. All personnel who work with animals will be required to complete this training before being given access to the facilities. Further information will be posted on this site as it becomes available.
