Assurances

Animal Welfare Assurance of Compliance number for grant submission: A3431-01

The Assurance of Compliance is documentation that demonstrates institutional compliance with PHS policy. It requires that there be in place an Institutional Program for Animal Care and Use and an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) to monitor the Program. Also required is accreditation by an outside organization such as the AAALAC.
