Any Investigator or Fellow with grant funding awarded through HMS for research that includes animal experimentation at an affiliated site must submit the approved Animal Experimentation Protocol with approval documentation from the affiliated site. The Committee will grant an administrative approval for funding purposes.

Any Investigator or Fellow with grant funding awarded though HMS for a Program Project or Center Grant conducting animal experimentation at an affiliated site need only submit the approval letter for the animal experimentation -- not the entire Protocol -- from the affiliated site.

Any Investigator or Fellow with grant funding awarded though HMS whose grant includes the production of custom antibodies off-site at a company must provide a letter with the AWA number and USDA Registration number from the company where the work is taking place, as well as the approval date from the company's IACUC for the investigator's custom antibody production.
