Taxi from Boston's Logan International Airport
From the baggage claim area (downstairs/ground transportation) walk outside the terminal and look for the sign that says "Ground Transportation." There should be a line of taxis waiting outside. Tell the driver that you want to go to the "Longwood Medical Area, Harvard Medical School, one block from Children's Hospital." (Please specify that you are going to the Harvard Medical Area in Boston and not Harvard University in Cambridge.)

Subway (T) from Boston's Logan International Airport (T)
From the baggage claim area (downstairs/ground transportation) walk outside the terminal and look for the sign that says : "Subway Shuttle". Once there, take bus #11 (the one that has a "T" painted on the side and says "Subway") to the T terminal. Once there, take steps down and take the T Blue Line ($1.00) inbound train to Government Center. From Government Center, take the escalator to the top platform: Green Line, outbound. Take the Green Line "E" train outbound (Heath Street). After the streetcar comes above ground, get off at the Longwood Medical Area stop (on the corner of Huntington and Longwood Avenues). Cross Huntington Avenue over to the same side of the street as the Massachusetts College of Art. With the Massachusetts College of Art on your right, walk down Longwood. The Harvard Medical School Quadrangle will be two blocks down Longwood on your left.

Subway (T) from Boston's South Station (Amtrak and Bus Station)
Go into the main atrium where you will see many food venders, and follow signs to the MBTA subway. Follow direction on sign and go down escalators. Follow a corridor to the Red Line South Station T stop. Take the subway from South Station inbound (Alewife via Park Street). Get off the subway at Park Street where you will switch subway lines to the Green Line "E" train (Heath Street) (when you get off the Red Line at Park Street, walk up one flight of stairs to the Green Line platform). After the streetcar comes above ground, get off at the Longwood Medical Area stop (on the corner of Huntington and Longwood Avenues). Cross Huntington Avenue over to the same side of the street as the Massachusetts College of Art. With the Massachusetts College of Art on your right, walk down Longwood Avenue. The Harvard Medical School Quadrangle will be two blocks down Longwood on your left.

Driving from Boston's Logan International Airport
Take the Sumner Tunnel into Boston, and follow signs to Expressway/Interstate 93 North. Take Interstate 93 to exit 26 (Cambridge/Storrow Drive). Keep left at the end of the exit ramp and take the underpass to Storrow Drive. Follow Storrow Drive approximately 2.5 miles to the Fenway exit (on left). Bear left at exit ramp, and take a right turn at the traffic light at the end of the ramp (Boylston Street). Follow Boylston Street approximately 1.5 miles until it merges into Brookline Avenue. Passing the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital on the left, make a left turn onto Longwood Avenue (watch for the blue and white Longwood Medical and Academic Area signs). The Harvard Medical School Quadrangle is approximately 1/2 mile down on the right.

Driving from North and South of Boston
Take Interstate 93 to exit 26 (Cambridge/Storrow Drive). Keep left at the end of the exit ramp and take the underpass to Storrow Drive. Follow Storrow Drive approximately 2.5 miles to the Fenway exit (on left). Bear left at exit ramp, and take a right turn at the traffic light at the end of the ramp (Boylston Street). Follow Boylston Street approximately 1.5 miles until it merges into Brookline Avenue. Driving from West of Boston
