Donor Relations and Reporting
Donor relations at Harvard Medical School serves as a means of communication between the people who give to the Medical School, and the areas they support. The mission of donor relations is the building and nurturing of lasting relationships between Harvard Medical School and those who financially support many worthy medical, educational, and research efforts underway on the quad.
With donor stewardship as its primary focus, donor relations, fosters and encourages such support by: 1) acknowledging contributions in a timely, accurate, and appropriate manner; 2) recognizing donors in meaningful ways, such as with luncheons, annual reports, and updates appropriate to the donor's wishes and 3) reporting to donors in a consistent and accurate manner on the use and impact of their financial contributions to scholarships, professorships, and endowed funds.
