Court Reservations for Tennis and Squash

Court reservations can be made online at the reservation website or by calling the Athletic Office during posted office hours at (617) 432-1942. When leaving messages please leave your name and telephone number.

You can reserve a court up to 48 hours in advance. You may reserve any court by printing your name on the sheet outside the athletic director's office in the desired time slot. Maximum time allowed for reservations is 1 hour and reservations must be made on the hour. Weekend court reservation schedules will be posted every Friday. All the above rules apply.

If you cannot keep your court reservation, call (617) 432-1942 to cancel. Court utilization will be monitored closely.

Membership Information


Harvard Students - FREE

The center is available as a complimentary privilege to all Harvard University students. Students must have a valid Harvard Student Photo ID card.

Harvard Employees

$38 monthly through payroll deduction or $456 annually (July through June). The annual rate is prorated monthly.

Non-Paid Harvard Faculty and Appointees

$456 annually (July through June). The annual rate is prorated monthly. A valid Harvard Photo ID card is required.

Membership Applications

You may register for the Vanderbilt Hall Athletic Facility at the Vanderbilt Hall Business Office. All memberships are for those 18 years of age and above, are non-transferable, and may only be canceled according to the terms of the contract. Details are found on the reverse of the application form.
Application Form and Terms of Membership  

Guests

As a member, you may host a guest for a small fee. Your Harvard Photo ID acts as a debit card to pay for your guest‘s visit. Up to $100 dollars worth of credit may be added to your Harvard ID card. Credit may be added at the Vanderbilt Hall Business Office, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This Guest Pass account is similar to Crimson Cash, but it is a separate account.

The Vanderbilt Hall Business Office is located next the security desk in the Vanderbilt Hall lobby. All guests must submit a valid form of ID , be 18 years or older, and be accompanied by the member at all times. When a member brings a guest to the facility, the security officer will slide the member’s card through the card reader and deduct $5 from the member’s Guest Pass account. Unused guest pass credit may be carried over to the next fiscal year. Refunds for unused guest passes will be made only during the fiscal year in which they were purchased. A receipt must be provided for all refunds.

Small Locker: $84 annual fee starting July 1. (Annual rate prorated monthly)

Classes Offered (Schedule)


Plyometric Training:

This class will focus on the functional aspects of agility, speed, power, and strength. Prepare for a great workout! Great for sport specific training.!

Cardio Blast:

Tired of the treadmill or elliptical? Come let Jen get your heart rate up in this high energized class. Will feature kicking, jumping, dancing, and strength. Great total body workout!

Pilates:

A conditioning program that helps improve muscle control, flexibility, coordination, muscle strength, and tone. Pilate's exercises target the abdomen, back, and buttocks.

Interval Step and Tone:

A class that uses weights (dumbbells) to strengthen and tone all major muscle groups. This class begins with a short aerobic warm-up and ends with exercises designed to improve strength and flexibility.

Yoga:

A great class to help with flexibility and movement. All levels are welcome. This class will focus more on the stretching and flexibility of yoga poses.

Tae Kwon Do:

A Korean martial arts that features punches and kicks. Class open for all.

Kundalini Yoga:

A combination of breathing, yoga exercises, deep relaxation and meditation, this type of yoga works to strengthen the body, expand the mind and awaken the spirit. After practice we feel relaxed and focused.

Resistance Training:

This class will be a half hour of total body strength training using free weights and body weighted exercises.

Core Challenge:

Your core is the power house of your body. This class will strengthen your core entirely.
