Would you like to participate in something larger than:
- yourself?
- your department?
- Harvard Medical and Dental Schools?
The Staff Task Force of the HMS/HSDM Joint Committee on the Status of Women feels that the time is right for members
of our professional community to join together to do something collectively meaningful and enriching. We encourage everyone to become inspired and become agents of change personally, professionally, locally, and globally.

Recently, our very own President Faust called for a commitment to service and encouraged all members of the Harvard community "to dedicate our collective energy as a university community to the solution of the world’s critical problems and
to the pursuit of the common good". For more information about Public Service @ Harvard visit: service.harvard.edu

:: Together, we can make a difference!
We encourage participation at every level - from 1 hour to 1 year. Throughout the year we will be sponsoring events, drives, volunteering opportunities, and showcasing volunteer activities in our community. While we expect to start small, we can grow with involvement and expand our opportunities - remember, "Large streams from little fountains flow, Tall oaks from little acorns grow" (D. Everett in The Columbian Orator, 1797).
We look forward to your involvement and welcome any suggestions, feedback, and donations of time and energy!
