 The Staff Committee on Diversity supports a community
 that encompasses differences and similarities in culture
 race, religion, mental or physical abilities, heritage, age
 gender, socioeconomic or educational backgrounds, and
 sexual orientation. Members are volunteers whoe work with
 the Office of Human Resources to plan and implement
 initiatives that promote diversification of the HMS/HSDM
 community. Committee members also work with staff from
 other HMS and University offices to share resources
 and information in support of this goal.
