FIMI
Mission Statement
The purpose
of the Frontiers in Mucosal Immunology (FIMI) symposium is to provide
an annual opportunity for scientists and students from academic institutions
throughout New England to present their work and discuss research pertaining
to all aspects of mucosal immunology. While the primary objective is educational,
the symposium is also designed to expand, promote, and facilitate collaborative
activities among New England scientists that will contribute ultimately
to advancing the field of mucosal immunology and enriching regional research
programs. The symposium is supported in part by the Harvard Digestive Diseases
Center.
This year's symposium will be held on Monday, September 25, 2006 at
the Conference Center at Harvard Medical. This year's symposium will be entitled "Immunological Aspects of Host-Microbe Interactions at Mucosal Surfaces"
