The
SCSP is a two-year post-graduate training program in clinical investigation.
Funded by a Clinical Research Curriculum Award from the National
Institutes of Health, the SCSP consists of formal didactic coursework,
a longitudinal seminar series, and a mentored clinical research
project. Our academic year begins the first week of July and runs
through the last week in May. Refer to the Program
Schedule for a schematic view of the curriculum.
Program
Funding
Partial funding is being provided by the National Center for Research Resources of the National Institutes of Health through a K30
curriculum award with additional funding from industry donations.
Pursuant to guidance from NIH, the SCSP is committed to training
individuals who will be eligible for federal funds upon completion
of the program. Exceptional individuals who are ineligible for federal
funds by virtue of their non-immigrant status will be considered
on a case-by-case basis, space permitting.
