1. American Express Increases Deliquency Fees
Effective September 15, 2003, late fees will increase from 2.7% of the balance to 2.99%. Effective October 1, 2003, cardmembers requesting duplicate copies for billing statements more than three months old will incur a charge of $5 per statement request with a maximum of $45 for multiple statements.
