ADAPT Bulletin 5/4/01
Announcement from HMS Finance Office:

1. Chart of Accounts Training Class
The Office of Financial Operations and Analysis is pleased to announce that a Chart of Accounts training class, specific to HMS, will be held on Tuesday, June 5, from 9:30 am to noon in the MEC, room 250.

We suggest enrolling employees who have not attended previous sessions as well as new employees who have financial responsibilities. Please register with Joanna Holly via email mailto:joanna_holly@hms.harvard.edu or by telephone at 617-432-2016.

Although additional training dates will be scheduled based on need, if you have not been to the training or you have new employees who need to attend, please register for the June 5th class.

Dates, times, and rooms of additional training sessions will be announced in future Adapt Bulletins.

 

2. STAR "shut-down" (5/31) and Settlement of Outstanding STOA
This is just a reminder that the STAR system will be "shut-down" on May 31st! Most of you should already be using the Web Voucher system to process your reimbursements. If you aren't, now is the time to get accustomed to the new system which provides a much easier and faster way to process reimbursements.

Please remember that ALL advances taken out in STAR must be settled in STAR by May 31st! Any new advances should be done using web voucher. The only reason to be using STAR should be for settling any outstanding advances.
