How
Do I Get Training on the Financial Systems?
The Center for Training and Development provides
a variety of instructor-led and online learning opportunities for
users of Harvard University's financial systems (called Administrative
Systems Training). All financial systems training courses have two
prerequisites:
- the
ability to navigate in the Windows 95/98 operating system (or
the Macintosh equivalent);
- an
understanding of Harvard's chart of accounts
(CoA) structure and your department's chart values.
Questions
about these prerequisites or the training that is right for you
based on your job role, please contact David Smallwood at 617-432-0537.
Course
schedules, course descriptions, how to register and training locations
are available on the University intranet's website (Harvie) at:
http://atwork.harvard.edu
To
register for a course, please complete the training
request form. The training request form should then be faxed/returned
to David Smallwood in the Office of Financial Operations and Analysis
in Gordon Hall/Room 407; fax number is 617-432-2384.
