Chart of Accounts Values
The Chart of Accounts provides the organizing framework for budgeting, recording, and reporting on all financial transactions. Harvard's Chart of Accounts consists of seven segments and 33 digits. Each segment consists of a numerical value and a text description that follows a standard naming convention. Requesting Chart of Accounts Values
New org, activity and subactivity requests should be directed to your FOA rep. Requests are then forwarded to Grace Cao (617-432-2356) in the Office of Financial Operations and Analysis, Gordon Hall Room 407, for processing.

New root requests should be directed to Aphi Daigler in the Sponsored Programs Administration Office. Aphi can be reached directly at 617-432-4221.

New gift and endowment fund requests should be forwarded to Mike Harty (617-432-3289) in the Office of Financial Operations and Analysis, Gordon Hall Room 407, for processing.

New unrestricted designated fund requests should be directed to your FOA rep. Requests are then forwarded to Mike Harty (617-432-3289) in Financial Operations and Analysis for processing.
