Employees at the Affiliate Institutions of Harvard Medical School (as well as off-site Harvard Medical School employees) may be required to manage Harvard funds on behalf of their department or lab. Since the sources of these funds vary - sponsored grants, endowed chairs, teaching allocations, etc. - the resources for understanding and the processes for accessing these funds also vary.

Affiliate staff will find that the vast majority of policies as well as resources available to Medical School employees apply to them, however, there are unique aspects to managing Harvard funds from off-site and/or as a non-employee.
