Individual Conferences with Members of the Dean's Office

To assist the Faculty of Medicine in attracting as many talented academicians as possible, many sources of support are available for an individual faculty member who wishes to consider options for choice of criteria by which to pursue her/his academic career, optimal distribution of effort to accomplish specific goals, or strategies for coping with academic or other hurdles. In addition to assistance already provided by departments and divisions, other faculty support services are listed below.

Multiple individuals in the Dean's Offices are available to meet with faculty members regarding any issues or problems that seem to be interfering with academic productivity, whether interpersonal, institutional, or external. The Dean and Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs, and the Faculty Dean for Development and Diversity are all involved in this process.
