The OFA is responsible for implementing the guidelines for those interdepartmental/interdisciplinary or interinstitutional bodies that bear the name of Harvard in their titles. Permission to use the Harvard or Harvard Medical School name can be granted only after review by the Faculty Council with a positive recommendation to the Dean, who will forward the request to the Office of the Provost to use the Harvard name alone. The responsibilities and obligations of such approved bodies can be obtained from the Office for Faculty Affairs at 432-1540.
