The mission of HMS EMIG is to:
1. Provide HMS students with early exposure to EM, thereby promoting interest and raising awareness regarding relevant career paths.
2. Serve as a continuously evolving resource for all HMS students, by providing a forum for students interested in a career in EM, in addition to offering opportunities for all students to learn how to prepare for and respond to emergencies within the ED and beyond.
3. Connect enthusiastic students with dedicated mentors within EM, thereby encouraging collaboration across all levels of training toward the advancement of research, education, and patient care/advocacy.
