Housing, Travel and Program Funding

The Division of Medical Sciences will provide housing at a university dormitory, travel to and from the program, a small stipend*, food, and all educational material. Harvard Medical School is located in Boston, Massachusetts, easily accessible by public transportation to the downtown areas and to nearby Cambridge, home of Harvard's main campus.

*in most cases

Students in the Program live in Simmons College dormitories which are down the road from the Harvard Medical School Campus. Chaperones and teachers will be staying on the same dormitory floor as the students. The dormitory has 24 hour a day security and is only accessible by approved Identification cards. The dormitory is accessible via the Boston MBTA Green Line, as well as several bus lines and the Harvard M2 Shuttle between the Cambridge and Longwood campuses.

NAHSSP provides full financial support for the participating communities. The program is funded by the Division of Medical Sciences at Harvard Medical School, the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Please contact us if you are interested in helping fund this program.
