BBS is an interdepartmental program within the Division of Medical Sciences, and offers interdisciplinary research training in the following areas: Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics, Pathology, Microbiology, Structural Biology, Pharmacology, Virology, and Developmental Biology. Through the Division of Medical Sciences (DMS), BBS recommends its candidates to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Harvard University for the PhD degree.
The Programs in BBS includes faculty from the five basic science departments and additional faculty from other Harvard Medical School (HMS) departments and affiliated institutions. |
