The laboratory is interested in the regulation of gene expression in heart development and heart failure. We seek to apply our understanding of heart development towards regenerative approaches to congenital and acquired heart disease.
Current Projects:
1. Transcriptional regulation of heart development and heart function.
2. microRNA regulation of gene expression in the heart
3. Epicardial contributions to the developing and adult heart
4. Modeling heart disease with iPS technology
