The Aster laboratory primarily studies Notch signaling in cancer. Ongoing projects seek to elucidate pathophysiologic mechanisms of Notch activation and downstream signaling; determine Notch targets that mediate the growth and survival of cancer cells; and identify novel Notch pathway agonists and antagonists, with an eye towards cancer therapeutics.
