The Department of Dermatology at the Massachusetts General Hospital offers comprehensive care for all adult and pediatric diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. Services include a full range of specialties such as treatment of melanoma, light and pigment disorders, phototherapy, photochemotherapy, contact dermatitis, Mohs surgery, hair and nails, cutaneous lymphomas, rheumatology-dermatology, pruritus, pediatric dermatology, laser surgery, and cosmetic services. An inpatient consultation service is devoted to serving all hospitalized patients at the MGH, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Shriner's Hospital for Children which is a leader in pediatric burn care. A center for pioneering clinical and basic science research for many decades, MGH offers extensive opportunities through programs at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine (WCP) and the MGH/Harvard Cutaneous Biology Research Center (CBRC).
