Clinical
The Clinical Core supports ongoing development and coordination of women's health services at the three HMS teaching hospitals.
Education
The Educaton Core organizes and enhances both medical and provder education. The Education Core focuses on and coordinates curriculum revision in medical education at HMS at the undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate levels, in order to better provide training for all physicians. The Education Core also coordinates and enhances the provision of culturally-sensitive, linguistically-appropriate patient education in women's health at all Harvard teaching hospitals
Evaluation
The Evaluation Core works closely with each Center of Excellence core to evaluate all components of the Center of Excellence, thus ensuring our goals are being reached.
Outreach
The Outreach Core (Committee to Advance the Health of Minority Women) devotes its efforts to improving the health of minority and other traditionally underserved women by promoting institutional change, improving access to care for minority and other underserved women, and enhancing outreach, education, and research opportunities for both professionals and recipients of care.
Research
The Research Core encourages collaboration and enhances communication across disciplines and institutions, promotes interdisciplinary research projects, and allows explorations of additional areas of synergy.
