HMS Fund for Women's Health Research
2005

Dear Members of the HMS Community:

We are pleased to announce the availability of funds from the HMS Center of Excellence in Women's Health to support women's health research that meets the following goals:

  • To promote new inter-institutional collaborations in the Harvard Medical School community
  • To support excellence in research on women's health issues

The Fund supports basic research, clinical research, health services research, population sciences research, and educational program development in any area of women's health or the advancement of women in academic medicine. Applications that focus on issues of particular concern to minority, underserved, and disadvantaged groups are encouraged.

Applications must include collaborations between investigators at two different Harvard Medical School Center of Excellence in Women's Health institutions or systems. This is a key element of this RFA and has been found to be extremely beneficial to previous award recipients. Please review the specifics of this requirement in the application materials.

We anticipate awarding up to seven one-year grants for $30,000 each.

Due dates are as follows:

Letters of Intent (Required):April 11, 2005 by 3pm

Applications: May 2, 2005 by 3pm
