Funding for the HMS Fund is provided by the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Harvard Medical School's Department of Ophthalmology, Harvard School of Public Health, Joslin Diabetes Center, and Partners Healthcare.

Dates to Know:

Application Released: February 15, 2005

Letter of Intent Due (Required): April 11, 2005 by 3pm

Application Due: May 2, 2005 by 3pm

Award Announcement: mid-July

Documention of IRB/IACUC Submission (if needed): by September 6, 2005

Award Start Date: no later than September 6, 2005
Funds will not be disbursed until the HMS Center of Excellence in Women's Health office receives documentation of IRB and/or animal approval.

Length of Award: One Year

Final Report: A final report must be submitted within three months of the end of the granting period.
