Harvard Medical School's Center for Excellence In Women's Health -5th Annual Research Conference - Understanding and Addressing the Obesity Epidemic: Current Research Affecting Women

The conference will feature presentations on women's mental health research by Harvard Medical School faculty. Topics include epidemiological, basic science, and psychosocial research overviews of women's mental health as well as research about mental health concerns related to drug exposure in pregnancy, SSRI treatment for girls, multicultural perspectives on depression and women, impact of depression on alcohol use in women, menopause and mental health, and the general functional decline of women's mental health. Confirmed speakers include Dr. Margarita Alegria, Dr. Lisa Berkman, Dr. Lee Cohen, Dr. Shelly Greenfield, Dr. Jill Goldstein, Dr. Hadine Joffe, Dr. Ronald Kessler, Dr. Helen Kyomen, and Dr. Janet Wozniak.

The conference is free. A light lunch will be provided, and the program will conclude with a networking reception.
