The conference will feature presentations by senior Harvard Medical School investigators and clinicians. James Dirk Iglehart, M.D. will discuss cancer genesis, Glenn Dranoff, M.D. will present information about new and upcoming cancer therapies, and Karen Emmons, Ph.D. and Beth Garner, M.D. will discuss disparities in treatment and outcomes for breast, colon and cervical cancer. These sessions will be followed by a panel discussion with the presenters moderated by Nancy Mueller, Sc.D.

Maureen Connelly, M.D. will present the highly anticipated results from her survey evaluating the influences on career advancement and satisfaction spanning the entire full-time faculty at Harvard Medical School. Maureen Connelly, M.D., Jean Emans, M.D., JoAnn Manson M.D., Dr.Ph., and Nancy Tarbell, M.D., will participate in a panel discussion about the survey results, moderated by Eleanor Shore, M.D., M.P.H.

Additionally, a poster session will highlight research conducted by Harvard Medical School Faculty awarded grants from the HMS Fund for Women's Health, as well as other current women's health research.

A light lunch will be provided, and the free program will conclude with a reception. CME credit is available. The conference is co-sponsored by the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center.
