Paula Rauch, MDDirector, Dr. Rauch is the director of the Child Psychiatry Consultation Service to Pediatrics at MGH and the founding director of the MGH Cancer Center Parenting Program: Parenting At a Challenging Time (PACT). Dr. Rauch has devoted her clinical career to the psychological care of children in the setting of a serious illness in the family. She works with children hospitalized on the MGH Pediatric unit and with parents in treatment for cancer who want help to address the needs of their children during the parent’s medical care. Dr. Rauch has lectured and published widely on these topics. She and her colleague, Dr. Anna Muriel, have published the book Raising an Emotionally Healthy Child When a Parent is Sick. Dr. Rauch has received awards for her teaching, mentoring and compassionate care. She is active in medical education at the Massachusetts General Hospital and in the Partners HealthCare system.
