Current teaching and research interests:

Since graduate school I have been interested in psychosocial aspects of advanced illness, caregiving and bereavement. My main research interests are in conducting and promoting research to identify persons at risk of difficult adjustment and to develop interventions to improve cancer patient and caregiver well-being.
