Current teaching and research interests:

I work as a clinician-educator and now work full-time in the area of palliative care. I serve as Assistant Fellowship Director for the Midwest-Rush-Cook County Fellowship Program and assist with curriculum development and teaching for the fellowship program. I have also started a resident rotation in palliative care that includes didactic teaching and direct experiential training on the inpatient consultation service, outpatient palliative care clinic and through home visits. I also conduct a variety of educational sessions for housestaff, nurses, and other health care professionals and for many departments throughout the hospital.
