Current teaching and research interests:

An area of interest for me in end of life care is the relationship between one’s knowledge of their impending death and their religious and/ or spirituality beliefs.  Also, I am interested in the coping mechanisms families/friends/significant others utilize to deal with loss, and the impact formal bereavement services may have on effectively assisting them during this time.
