Course
Description
This course has been
specially developed for nurses, by nurses, in palliative care. The Art
and Science of Palliative Care Nursing focuses on essential concepts in
end of life care including communication, pain and symptom management,
along with ethics. The goal is to deepen clinical knowledge
as well as professional skill in responding to the needs of patients,
families, and colleagues.
This
two-day course focuses on adult
palliative nursing.

Scholarships Available
Scholarships may be available based on financial need. Requests should
be sent, along with the registration form, in writing with the following:
a) Letter of request
b) Explanation of need, and
c) Plan of how education will be disseminated.

Policy:
The cancellation fee is $75.00. If the participant must leave before the
completion of the course, no refund will be made nor will education credits
