Extending healthy productive human life through research

The Paul F. Glenn Center for Biology of Aging Research at Harvard Medical School was established in 2006 with support from the Glenn Foundation for Medical Research. Our mission is to explore the molecular basis of normal aging and age-related physiological decline, and to develop therapeutic interventions that extend healthspan and prevent or delay the onset of age-related diseases.  The work of our Center and other Glenn Centers provides hope that resilience during aging is a feasible goal.
