Summer Programs

PRE-BACCALAUREATE PROGRAM

Undergraduates in the biological sciences who plan to pursue a career in biomedical research are encouraged to apply for our competitive pre-baccalaureate summer training program. This program draws participants from major colleges and universities and provides a three-month stipend for students to work side-by-side with NEPRC scientists during the summer months. Multiple opportunities are offered in the broad areas of infectious disease and neuroscience.

SUMMER VETERINARY PROGRAM

The Center's summer program for veterinary students provides students with the opportunity to work closely with veterinarians in the Divisions of Comparative Pathology and Primate Resources. Participants in this three-month program gain practical experience in clinical practice and diagnostic and experimental pathology of nonhuman primates.

For more information about these programs, please contact the Program Coordinator. The deadline for applications for either summer program is February 12th annually.
